Celebrating Overlorde's 20th Anniversary!

Overlorde was named June 6, 1985 and played its first show in November 1985. The first event to mark the 20th anniversary was held Friday, June 24th, 2005.
OVERLORDE band members Kong, M.E. and Leather Lungs visited the WDHA-FM studio in New Jersey.  The band talked about RETURN OF THE SNOW GIANT and celebrated its 20th anniversary with some giveaways. The prizes consisted of a black Overlorde T-shirt together with a signed Overlorde poster.

DJ/host Matt Murray of WDHA's METAL MANIA metal show aired two songs, SNOW GIANT and COLOSSUS (ISLAND OF THE CYCLOPS).

 Congratulations to everyone who called in and won. Thanks to Matt Murray, Joe Bruno for taking pictures, and  also to Cheryl Richardt who called in off-air. Cheryl founded METAL MANIA in the early 80's and was one of the very first DJs to support Overlorde when she aired tracks from the 1987 EP!
