In June, New Jersey Power metal veterans OVERLORDE were interviewed on STORMING THE RAMPARTS. DJ Captain Morgan spent 90 minutes discussing the band’s history and spinning tunes.

Part of that history was the release in late 2000 of a 4-song demo titled OVERLORDE 2000. This was the first release with singer Bobby “Leather Lungs” Lucas (Seven Witches, Morbid Sin) and was used to obtain a record deal for the band. The deal which led to the release of RETURN OF THE SNOW GIANT in 2004/2005.

The band has donated 4 autographed copies of the demo to WSOU. Each booklet is signed by all four members of the band. During the upcoming STORMING THE RAMPARTS show on Wednesday July 21st, 2010, Captain Morgan will give these rare copies away to four lucky listeners.
